The first thing you should know about Mary is that she gets stuff done. She started the company in 2013 after leaving full-time life in corporate America and an epic 5-month solo trek through Europe. Part of her success in the corporate world was seeing the big picture and creating a path to get from one place to another.
This has translated into Living Big Travel, where she considers the whole person, not just a trip, when designing adventures for clients. An avid traveler herself, she values finding community wherever you are and saying “why not” more often than “why.”
Outside of travel, you can find Mary enjoying her hometown of Portland, Oregon, exploring Mt.Hood on snowshoes or a paddle board, hosting dinner parties with her husband, loving on her adorable nieces and nephew, and spending time with family and friends.

If you ask Nicole, she’ll say that it’s her curiosity for experiencing how different life can be across the globe that keeps her traveling. From meeting interesting people, exploring beautiful landscapes, trying amazing food, learning about new cultures, overcoming challenges and stretching her comfort zone - it’s all of this that keeps her on the road.
But getting on the road - that’s where she gets her kicks! She loves diving into the details and intricacies of planning a trip and figuring out how to best bring it all to life!
When Nicole’s not traveling, you can find her working in the medical field, spending time with her niece and nephews, and cheering on the Detroit Tigers and Michigan Wolverines.

It was Ruby’s early travels to the Philippines and Hawaii, to visit extended family, that kick-started her life-long love affair with travel, but it’s her curiosity that keeps her coming back for more. Since those early-days of travel with family, she’s made her way all over the world soaking up diverse cultures, marveling at architecture and art, and sampling the best-of at local markets, cantinas, fine-dining restaurants, street food stalls and more.
Ruby truly has ninja-level travel research skills, and thrives off the anticipation of what all her research will lead her to when she finally gets where she’s going.
Ruby is based in Portland, Oregon, and spends a lot of time with her family and friends trying new restaurants, wine tasting in the Willamette Valley, hiking, running, snowshoeing and dreaming (and planning!) her next adventure!

MARKETING ASSISTANT
Sammy always wants to stay curious about exploring because she believes that’s how we keep growing as individuals. She hopes her travels inspire others to see the world and find connections with people in unique ways.
At 21, she set off on a solo backpacking trip through South America for six months in hopes it inspires other women to do the same someday. She uses blogging and photography to share her travels with family and friends. Her ultimate travel goal is to visit all 7 continents someday.
When she’s not traveling Sammy can be found hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest, trying out new recipes, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
