Mt. St. Helens 2017: Recap
LET. ME. TELL. YOU. If you ever have a chance to explore Mt. St. Helens — made famous by it’s massive eruption in 1980 — with a GEOLOGIST, do it. Just do it. Ladies that joined for the recent Living Big adventure to Mt. St. Helens with Dr. Scott Burns were treated to the best kind of adult field trip. Dr. Burns is a (quasi) retired geology professor from Portland State University. We explored the north side of the volcano learning how the eruption redefined the landscape + taught geologist around the world about volcanos. Such an amazing day, and so fun to stretch our minds and expand our understanding of the world that surrounds us.
