Vietnam 2019 - Recap
When you touch down in Vietnam you’re greeted with what can be an overwhelming sensation of flavors, traffic, honking horns, crazy smells and more. But if you’re open to it, you’ll also experience an abundance of kindness from warm people, exposure to different ways of life, laughter, amazing food, a history that’s full of lessons and more. It’s one of my favorite places to travel, and I feel pretty darn lucky that I had an opportunity to introduce 11 women to the country in March 2019.
It’s difficult to put into words just how much fun we had on this adventure, which started in Hoi An, made its way to Ha Long Bay, and ended in Hanoi. From cruising on Vespas, custom designing clothing, learning to make local dishes, sampling SO MUCH street food, making beautiful lanterns like the ones that adorn Hoi An streets, exploring caves, kayaking, swimming, early morning tai-chi, visiting museums, shopping, learning about Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnam War and more. The memories and laughter will live with the special women that joined for the adventure, but here’s just a sneak peek at the adventure we shared….
Until next time, Vietnam!
