Mexico 2019 - Recap
Growing up in the West, taking the occasional trip to Mexico to visit Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan were relatively quick trips to find the sun and sand. But I didn’t make it inland until much later in life, and once I did – I just knew I had to share it with clients. On this trip we visited Oaxaca, San Miguel de Allende and Mexico City. Our experience (and I think you’ll be able to see from the photos below!) that the people we met, and places we visited, are overflowing with kindness, culture, charm and tradition. They’re full of vibrancy and energy, and not just in the bright colors but how they live their daily lives.
I can’t thank this amazing crew of women enough for opening their hearts and minds to all that this trip, and country, had to teach us. From visiting women running their own small textile businesses in the Teotitlan Valley, to learning to make traditional Oaxacan dishes from Oscar, getting lost in the charm of San Miguel de Allenda, painting our favorite scenes of Mexico, to visiting a ranch outside San Miguel de Allende to ride horses through a stunning valley, soaking up (and eating!) all the tacos Mexico city has to offer, and joining in on the fun at a Lucha Libre match. Holy smokes – this trip was packed full of fun, and I’m so grateful for the amazing women I got to share this experience with.
Until next time, Mexico!
